We are recruiting for 2020!

1) 3-yr PDRA position in Carbohydrate Chemical Biology

A postdoctoral position is available within the group to carry out research on a project funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC). The project is a collaboration with Prof. Eoin M. Scanlan’s group at Trinity College, Dublin (funded in the RoI by Science Foundation Ireland). The focus is in carbohydrate chemical biology and will involve the design and chemical synthesis of a series of oligosaccharide glycosaminoglycan targets, alongside the establishment of new, mild ligation technologies for their conjugation to fluorophores. For full details of the job advert, specification and how to apply, see here. Please email GJM (attach a CV) for informal inquiries.

2) Fully-funded 3 yr PhD studentship in Carbohydrate Chemical Biology

In alignment with the above PDRA post we are also seeking a motivated candidate for a PhD research project entitled: 'Glycoconjugate chemical biology tools: creating diagnostic sugar probes to target cancer cell proliferation.' For full details of the position see here. Please email GJM (attach a CV) for informal inquiries.
